Dalmatia is the southernmost and the most internationally famous historic region of Croatia. It is a place in the sun, with warm seas, vegetation which is always green, olive groves, wine, fish, music and songs and quaint villages with stone houses. In a word, the authentic Mediterranean, the Mediterranean as it once was. Picturesque bays and clear waters that are places of unspoilt beauty and undisturbed peace. Small historic towns and traditional villages which are inviting to visitors. With the most craggy group of islands in Europe (the Kornati islands) and the Karst phenomena in its hinterland (Skradinski buk, Visovac, RoSki slap) in terms of its landscape, it is the most attractive tourist destination on the Adriatic sea.
The ‘Leisure Beach’ property is situated in Tisno near the crossing point to Murter island and in the SIBENIK district, a port town in northern Dalmatia. Sibenik is the starting point for many attractive day trips in the inland and also on the waters along the Adria coast. We can organise your excursions and lease mooring berths to you in the direct vicinity. We will also be pleased to provide you with contacts for boat hire.
There are good motorway and ferry connections to Italy as well as flight connections to all European capitals via the international airports Split and Zadar (both of which are approx. 60 km away). We can organise flights for you and/or pick you up from either of the airports. Cars are also available for hire at reasonable prices locally.
